At Norwich Aesthetic Dentistry, we believe that a doctor and patient become a team for treating an individual’s dental needs. Our staff spend most of their time listening to understand your concerns and responding with the best treatment options for you. Our professional staff will always follow up making sure your problems are resolved and your dental health improves.
Our primary purpose is to provide the highest quality dental care possible to all of our patients. Each patient deserves our focused attention and best efforts to make his/her experience one that stands far above the norm. Our practice depends on the success of these efforts. A comprehensive approach to dental care is the foundation of our practice. Our goal is to establish and maintain a quality and service oriented practice that offers all phases of dentistry with an emphasis on aesthetic smile enhancement.

Meet Dr. Edward C. Yates
Dr. Edward C. Yates received his dental training at Creighton University. After dental school, he went into residency in Palo Alto, California. During his time in the Palo Alto VA/ Stanford, he received additional training and extensive continuing education. After finishing residency, he moved to Waterford, Connecticut and joined the National Health Service Corps, treating low-income families for more than two years. In September of 2001, Dr. Yates spent a year with the Mystic Dental Group and then another year in Westerly, Rhode Island with Dr. Mitchell. In the fall of 2004, Dr. Yates bought the practice of Dr. Kathryn Payne in Norwich, Connecticut. Continuing education remains an important part of his professional life. He focuses much of his training on cosmetic dentistry as well as prosthetic full mouth reconstructions. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Connecticut State Dental Association, American Dental Implant Association, International Association of Orthodontics, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and attends many courses and seminars. He is one of very few general dentists who uses fully guided implant placement. Dr. Yates is also happy to offer Invisalign in his office for many of your orthodontic needs. He enjoys traveling to train other dentists in using CEREC technology.
